Job Description Serves as Dupont Hospital’s front line for facility-wide security of occupants and materials. Use of camera and door access systems, PBX operations, understanding and announcing fire alarms and drills. Parking control and patrol as needed. Responsive to radio communications on a routine basis. This position participates in all facility responses related to emergencies and in regard to safety and security of guests, visitors, and team members. Job Requirements Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications Licensure: Certification in Basic Life Support CPR required within 60 daysof employment CPI certified within 90 days of employment Current Drivers License Experience: Basic skills in word processing. Education: High School diploma or its equivalent. Other:Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects simultaneously. Ability to make independent decisions that do not adversely affect others and interactwith professionals and the public. Utilizes security systems such as CCTV, and access control to monitor the hospitalgrounds. Responsible for PBX operations. Responsible to announce via overhead paging all codes and pages as required.
