We are seeking a self-motivated person who enjoys learning new technologies, can think outside the box, and understand impacts at an enterprise level. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of what they create and hold others accountable to the same high standards, so the end goal of adding value with long-term strategy is met.
You will enhance database system stability and reliability. This will involve identifying database requirements by interviewing customers; analyzing department applications, programming, and operations; evaluating existing systems and designing proposed systems. You will recommend and implement solutions by clearly defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications in a SQL environment. You will act as the data steward and participate on the team responsible for ensure the integrity and consistency of data entered into the system.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Database Administration for MSSQL Server and troubleshooting. Minimum of 5 years’ experience with SQL maintenance, backups, restores, and recovery models. Minimum of 4 years’ experience with core concepts including indexing, integrity checks, configuration, normalization, triggers, stored procedures,. Hands-on experience with standard SQL Server tools. Working knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery options for MSSQL Server. Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and a strong working knowledge of Windows server environments
PREFERENCES: Four year undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience. MCSA: SQL Server or MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Administration certification. Experience with Business Intelligence software such as Microsoft BI Advance knowledge of database structure, design and documentation. Experience with Machine Learning languages and technologies. Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services, and/or Integration Services a plus. Located at Portland TN, Waterloo IN, or Eufaula AL (Other locations available)
