Job Description Under the direction of the Supervisor, Central Scheduling, Patient Financial Services, provides support in coordinating pre-cert authorizations deemed necessary through the verification of benefits from insurance benefit verifiers. Coordinates and records pre certification information from the patient, physician office or scheduling staff in order to assure that authorization requirements are accurately met and are documented in the PHS and STAR systems. Two years experience in a customer service environment with prior experience in a medical service environment or patient accounting area.
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
