President and CEO The Fort Wayne Urban League is seeking applicants for the position of President/CEO.
Successful candidate will have: a bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred) in business administration, social work, public administration or another appropriate discipline, a proven track record of leadership and management in community-based organizations with at least ten years of senior non-profit or for-profit management experience, and experience in the development and implementation of social service programs, program evaluation, advocacy, public education, fiscal management, strategic planning, resource development, board and volunteer relations, community mobilization and collaboration, and personnel management.
Additional qualifications include excellent organizational and communications skills, fund raising, grant/proposal writing experience, government/community relations' experience and prior experience as President/CEO of not-for-profit organization.
Urban League employees with an acceptable level of experience would be a plus.
