Green Plains currently operates a total of seventeen ethanol plants in nine states. We also market and distribute ethanol for independent third-party ethanol producers, and operate grain storage facilities in a number of states. We are a growth company and we seek to continue our growth by adding grain storage facilities, ethanol plants, fueling terminals and more.
Location: Bluffton, IN
•Load trucks with product (DDGS, ethanol, wet cake) using meters or scales as required assuring timely deliver of products.
•Load railcars with product as necessary following standard operating procedures and safety procedures.
•Keep grains receiving building and surrounding areas clean.
•Keep loaders and other equipment clean.
•Inspect and service equipment when needed.
•Learn scale house operations of probing, weighing, and grading of grain.
•Help in other areas of the plant when needed.
•Be courteous at all times.
•Complete any and all tasks assigned by the Production Supervisor/Plant Manager.
•Participate in on-going safety programs, safety training and follow all safety procedures.
•Communicate regularly with the control room
•Inform maintenance of any equipment failures
Background / Experience:
•Valid drivers license required.
•Experience in truck loading and unloading, rail car loading.
•Experience in grain handling systems
•Operate front end loader, skid loader and other heavy equipment.
•Must be able to manage confined space entry, climb ladders and steps up to 180 feet, lift up to 60 lbs, and work at heights.
