Job Description Under the leadership of the Transfer/Communication Center Supervisor, receives, collects and records information from patients in order to complete registration for hospital services. Coordinates admissions process and communicates with physician offices, nursing and other service areas to promote timely and accurate registration process. Responsible for promoting patient satisfaction. Supports other transfer center activities as assigned. An equal opportunity employer. Job Requirements Experience: One to two years related customer serviceor office experience in a medical office or health care environment. Prior registration experience, preferred. Education: Minimum of High school diploma or GED Registration/Certification: None required Job Knowledge & Skills: Demonstrates working knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written. Working knowledge of medical terminology, preferred.
