Job Description Under the immediate supervision of the Executive Director. Functions as the Referral and Intake Manager with responsibilities for the day to day oversight of the Referral and Intake team. This is to include scheduling and assuring the program is staffed 24X7. Oversees quality of assessment and functioning, gathers referral and intake data, compiles reports and provides data to the Director. Responsible for providing assessments and coordinating admissions, completing pre-authorization and paperwork related to the admission. May provide back-up by answering the phone and taking initial calls. May coordinate with outreach liaison and provide marketing and development contacts in the community. This manager will also have oversight of the Intensive Outpatient Program to assure quality programming, staffing and monitoring of day-to-day functioning. Manager will supervise therapists in the IOP program.
Protects the confidentiality of the patient/therapist/physician relationship at all time.
Job Requirements Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications:
Registration / Certification / Licensure:
LCSW, LMHC, LMFT MSN
Prior experience doing admissions for Behavioral Health patients. Familiarity with in/outpatient psychiatric treatment. Previous management or supervisor experience preferred. Knowledge of community resources preferred. Must have experience in computer systems and data entry; patient registration experienced preferred but not required.
Masters degree in human service field: Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Nursing

Must have excellent communication and assessment skills. Good telephone etiquette and ability to communicate via the phone and in person. Good writing skills required.
Demonstrates strong working knowledge of psychiatric, admission and referral procedures.
Requires strong analytical and organization skills.
Must complete “Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) training within six months of hire date.
