The Paulding (Ohio) County Carnegie Library (PCCL) Board of Trustees seeks a competent, outgoing, visionary leader open to the creativity of a twenty-first century library team.
Our library serves an agriculturally-based population of about 19,500. We reflect small town flavor, rural communities and locally grown business. Located 33 miles from Fort Wayne, and 75 miles from Toledo, Paulding County provides an affordable opportunity to enjoy the benefits of small town life while being within easy driving distance of larger cities.
The first county library in the country funded by Andrew Carnegie, PCCL has services through the main library in Paulding and branch locations in Antwerp, Oakwood, and Payne. A bookmobile travels our county delivering services to smaller communities and other locations. Proud of our heritage and services our library has traditionally provided, we are mindful of the modern-day library user and strive to provide the services to meet his needs. We do our part to make Paulding County a better place to live.
Under the direction of the PCCL Board of Trustees, the director s responsibilities will be in accord with the policies and regulations set forth by the Board.
