New Life Chiropractic is looking for a ROCK STAR Chiropractic Administrative Assistant! What is that, you might ask? See this link for a quick simple, very general explanation of what a Chiropractic Assistant is:
For this position, we need someone who knows how to own their position but also understands enough about the whole office to keep the flow running smoothly and who can even cross train into other positions. You must have excellent communication skills, be very outgoing, be professional in appearance and action, you must believe in Chiropractic and know the principles and foundations of the profession (all of which can be taught and learned by a willing individual). We need someone who is efficient in improvising, completing and handling paperwork, organization, leadership, procedures and scripting. You really do need to be a quick learner and be able to absorb information and procedures in detail. Being detail oriented is key. You're probably detail oriented if you like things clean, organized and in their proper place. You probably like lists and sub-points and like to understand the why behind something.
The Administrative Assistant position at New Life is not your typical receptionist job. Although there are many tasks, you'll likely be on your feet a large portion of your day, managing patients and staff, keeping track of billing, collecting payments, organizing and opening up the office as well as closing down and running reports at the end of the night.
You are not required to have any specific type of education, however before you apply really evaluate yourself and ask questions like: Am I a self-starter? Do I follow through with commitment? Can I handle a lot of responsibility? Can I handle a career on top of what else I have going on? Do my health beliefs line up with New Life's or can they? When I did go to school did I study? Did I put in the time necessary to fully understand what I was learning? Am I motivated? Do I spend my days off doing nothing or am I still productive? Answering some of these questions will help you determine if you have what it takes to be a part of the New Life Team.
This position is full time. You are expected to work evenings and occasional Saturday mornings. Pay is determined by experience and performance. The pay range, again based on experience and/or performance can range from $30-60k annually. You would start off with paid training and have your rate bumped up after you can be left to do the work on your own (2-6 weeks). Bonuses are given based on performance. After 1 year of full-time employment, you will receive 5 days paid vacation. You will also be eligible for a 401K after 1 year of employment. No health insurance is available. As an employee, you, would become a patient and receive regular Chiropractic care.
